Brisbane Roar Announces BAC as Jersey Sponsor

Jersey sponsor announcements of the eight teams in the Australian W-League are beginning to splash out, as the league gets set to kick off its 2013/14 campaign in early November. The most recent news comes from last season's semi-finalists the Brisbane Roar, featuring key players Nadine Angerer (Germany goalkeeper and 2013 UEFA Footballer of the Year), Clare PolkinghorneKim Carroll and Tameka Butt (all of the Australian National Team).

For the first time in it's six seasons, the Brisbane Roar women's team will feature the BAC as its jersey sponsor. A longtime supporter of the organization's men's A-League squad, the BAC has now transferred it's support to the women's side as it's major sponsor, featuring on the front of both the home and away Puma jerseys. (Meanwhile, the men's team features The Coffee Club as it's jersey sponsor.) Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
